History
To give a brief history of Mr. Jones background, he currently has been involved in numerous community and charity events to help enrich the community. Mr. Jones also has developed the P.Y.P.U. (Pull Yo Pants Up) movement which is empowering our young community to dress for success and to promote self-confidence. He also volunteers his time to coach the Orlando Magic Junior Magic Basketball League where he coaches two teams from the ages of 7-8 and 11-12. In addition, he also does public speaking to the youth summer camps to promote self awarness for the TGI Empowerment summer camp.
Robert is also the proud owner of Poshion Menswear “www.poshion.com” which has been operating for five years in Orlando, Florida. Poshion Menswear is known for their posh bowties and exclusive men’s accessories which have been worn by many famous entertainers across the globe. In addition, Robert has been in featured articles written about Poshion Menswear in which appeared in national magazines such as "RYSE", "ENDEE MAG" and "Brink".
Facing many adversities in life Robert pursued acting in 2012 and landed a part on the TV hit series “GALS” which has been aired to over 5 million viewers across the world through the media platform of CabeVision, Optimum TV, Amazon Fire and more. He has worked with many professional actors and singers that have appeared on large network funded projects throughout the United States and overseas. He has appeared on the national syndicated late night talk show “The Sami Priso Show” and “The Point of View” through the Afrotainment network based in Orlando, Florida. Robert has also appeared on several radio stations and appeared in a music video for Salma Dodia which topped the charts overseas.
Although Mr. Jones has accomplished many goals over the years there has been a passion that resides inside of him to give back to the community that up fashioned him to be the man he is today. He thrives on new challenges and understands that giving back should not be an option, but a requirement.
To add to his reel of accomplishments he has now found the rhythm of his spirit and finally wrote his first book, “Now I Know Why”.
